Day 13: Feather Bread

This bread is called Feather bread because it's light as a feather. It looks like a baguette but it's a bit sweeter than your average one. I haven't really made any long loaves yet, so this one was fun because I got to roll out the dough by hand. The recipe says the loaves are supposed to be about 20 inches long, but I made them a bit shorter.
One of the loaves turned out pretty great, (pictured above) while the other (not pictured) turned out like garbage. I'm not sure what happened, but it didn't really rise or smooth out. It still tasted pretty great though. I put some cheese on it and it was smooth sailing. 
Even though only half of this bread turned out decent I'd still consider it a success! This bread is definitely worth making again. It lives up to it's name for being extremely light and it tastes a lot like a real baguette too!
