Day 11: Sister Virginia's Daily Loaf

This bread, with it's super weird name, is incredibly light and airy. It might be the softest white bread I've ever eaten. I immediately had to make both a sandwich and some soup to capitalize on it. This bread gets it's weird name from an 1800's Shaker's colony in Kentucky. Apparently there was someone named Sister Virginia that made one hell of a loaf of bread. It was so good that they just kept using that recipe for years and years.
The baking was pretty standard except for the fact that this recipe used a whopping 7 cups of flour. I think that's a new high score for recipes so far in the book. But it's so worth it! The recipe says it makes great toast and I believe it, I think it will make great anything.
I'm not sure how long this loaf will last, but if you need to make some dope white bread, I recommend this one. I think this is my favorite loaf I've made yet. It's got a lot going for it, I'm glad it got passed down for hundreds of years!
